A Dose of Unwelcome Honesty

What I have to say is going to be negative. However, at the same time I am going to be fair.

I have attended Sid's quite a few times since about 2013. At one time I was probably a "regular." I am a white male. Sid's is a black club. To summarize what I am going to say, I would say that Sid's is no longer an appropriate place for the general SC hobbyist to visit.

Sid's has always been high on the "Thug" factor. Having said that, in the past, I have never experienced any problems at Sid's, other than the occasional drunk black female patron getting belligerent with me. This has always been handled by my simply walking past. No problem. The staff has always been as gracious as could be expected, there have always been a good number of dancers that will be especially attentive, and,the patrons have generally been respectful, if somewhat wary (I sometimes get the feeling someone attached a "I'm a Cop" sign to my back while walking through.... I assure you, I am not a cop.). The bouncers are cool and watchful. Like I said, in the past, everything was hunky-dory, and if you like exploring urban clubs, it was a nice option to add to your SC adventures.
