Finally experienced Deja Vu while it was open

I finally made it to Deja Vu after two previous unsuccessful attempts. Their website says they are open 24/7, but they are actually only open from about 6 pm to 6 am every day I think. They may eventually be 24/7, but not yet. Anyway, after another great trip to Hong Kong, it was still fairly early for a Friday night, so decided to stop at Deja Vu, before heading back to the U.S. I arrived around 9:30 pm and paid a $5 cover charge. They offered me a free shot with the cover, but I'm not a tequila drinker, so I passed.

The club is big and very nice. Both Hong Kong and Deja Vu are nice, but I actually like the layout of Deja Vu better. It's really posh and more spacious than Hong Kong. There were a lot of customers, but not nearly as many as at Hong Kong, so the club looked half empty since it is so big. I would say there were about 25 or 30 dancers working when I was there. Some are just sitting around, so it could have been slightly more. I also noticed some couples there, probably from the casino or hotel next door. Since there is a casino, hotel, bar, and restaurant next door, it looked like there were a lot of people there to just watch the stage shows and drink. I didn't see many people getting lap dances or taking girls back to the spa rooms. It almost looked like a nice strip club in the U.S. where people sit around, drink, and watch the performers on stage. There was a very low hustle factor and girls hardly approach you at all and definitely don't pressure you. However, they are very friendly if you approach them. The waiters will approach you, to see if you want a table or drink, but they were friendly and not pushy.

All of the staff was very nice and pleasant. Everyone from the female cashier, to the waiters, bartenders, dancers, floor managers, bathroom attendant, spa attendants, were all nice. When I arrived, I was only planning on staying for a beer and then leaving. I just wanted to check out the club while it was open before heading home. Well, that didn't happen. Ha ha.
