A must see

After living in San Diego for 3 years I finally managed to make it down here. First time to TJ, so I was a little sketch with the whole situation. Once you are inside the club it basically feels the same as an American club in regards to safety etc. It seemed fine and I actually felt a little ridiculous with some of the precautions I took such as leaving my phone, but you can never be too safe.

So Tuesday night 9PM, no cover. Grab a Tecate, $4. The club is very lively and upbeat, feels like it's from a movie. Perfect energy level, not too crowded. Within 5 minutes a girl (7/10) approachs me and literally just says "sex?" Not very subtle down here. Now as the night progressed, it seemed the girls here are rather standoffish. I spent about 1-2hrs drinking beers, watching the dancers, posting up at a few different spots, including a booth upstairs overlooking the club which is a chill spot. During this period not one other dancer approached me, which seemed very strange as I'm used to the US where they are much more aggressive with approaching and hustling.

So I dip outside and check out a couple other clubs, Tropical Bar and Adelitas. Adelitas defiantly had a much friendlier vibe. Not sure why HK gets such better reviews except the decor and vibe is a little more of a spectacle. The girls are about the same looks wise. And Adelitas felt more like a conventional american club, with the girls actively making the rounds talking to customers.
