Sundowner

I was in the Buffalo area for business and decided to hop across the border and see what strip clubs are like in our northern neighbor. I’m glad I did.

Sundowner is about 30 minutes drive from the border. I arrived about 4:00 p.m. on a Wednesday afternoon. It’s in a somewhat nondescript building with a large parking lot. There is another club right next door, but it was closed. There were a couple of doors under an awning on the side of the building next to the parking lot. It looked like the entrance, but those doors were locked. It took me a moment to figure out that the entrance was on the other side of the building fronting on Lundy Lane.

There is a small anteroom inside the front door, but there was no one at the counter so I walked on in without paying a cover charge. Inside it is pretty dark and it took a few minutes for my eyes to adjust. When they did, I saw a long L-shaped bar to the left. To the right was the stage with a curvaceous blonde dancing in a red bikini. Past the bar was a buffet area with warming tables, but there was nothing out. Past that, the restrooms and then a private dance area. There is another dance area on the opposite side of the club. The club is pretty nice and seems well kept. It’s not plush, but it’s definitely not a dive. I would call it a mid-tier club.
