MBOT is a household name in SF. You can read up its history and its role in the city's (r)evolution in the 60s onward.

It's also yet another place to see naked women.

I finally made my way to the 'theater' on a Thursday evening in August.

The place was unfortunately not buzzing nor alive as I expected: very few dancers, very few patrons.

Highlight: I got to see Nikki Chase and even talk to her.
