Surprise

I had not expected to make a stop at HiLiter this day but circumstances beyond my control found me pulling into the parking lot. Often when I arrive here it is difficult to find a parking spot, but on this day at least half a dozen were open. Walked in, no ID check, no cover charge, declined the offer of a beer or water from the door girl and headed to the bar.

A long time favorite of mine has been dancing here for the past year or so but I had lost touch with her. Couldn't believe when she walked up to me almost immediately, in her street clothes. She was just starting her shift and explained she had lost her phone a few months back, hence the lost connection between us. Ordered a drink for the both of us and after visiting for a while, she headed to the dressing room to change. She was back in a flash and I found myself in a chair with my fav draped around me catching up.

After a short time we headed to the new VIP booths for my first visit to these convenient new digs. A nice time was had by both of us. Although the VIP booth area could use some attention, as a glass from the bar was laying on the floor and other items were stashed in the seats so be aware of this potential.
