Rhino Rising

In my short visit to LA, I decided to drop in at COI to check out the action on a Wednesday night. When I walked in the door, I noticed something odd - the place was about one third full - a lot more patrons than I expected on a weeknight. I also noticed that there were about 15-20 girls working that night. From what several of the girls mentioned, they were hired fairly recently and the fresh young talent were more eager to sit down and chat with you than some of the more jaded veterans who swings by and lazily ask "do you want a dance" and then camps out by the fireplace texting away. The night was fun and the new girls made all the difference. Another strange thing was that no cocktail waitress approached me all night long and I had to walk over to the bar to get a drink. I think that's a first for this club - it feels good not to get hustled for drinks all night long. This club is on its way back up.
