I didn't have a good time but I think you can

I was in Bakersfield for work and thought I would visit a strip club to see some titties. I chose Deja Vu because I'm familiar with the clubs throughout Los Angeles. The club is located in a decent area of the city. There is a lot of free parking. I felt pretty secure that my car would be safe while I was inside. There is a sex shop in the same parking lot too, but I didn't visit it.

I arrived around 8pm and paid $20 admission. It included a drink. The waitress met me at the entrance and took me to a table. It was about the same level of darkness as most clubs. It takes a few minutes for the eyes to adjust. The loudness of the music was good. Not too loud. The thing that I really didn't like about the club was that the stage was too high and too dark. I don't mind if the club itself is dark but they should have quality lighting on the main stage so you can see the naked dancer. I just felt like I could see for a second when a strobe effect went off but for the most part I couldn't see the thing that I paid to see.

A lot of dancers stopped by and were really friendly. They would introduce themselves and a few even sat and chatted for a few minutes There was no pressure to buy dances or buy drinks. So the atmosphere was really low key. I think they're standard price is 2 songs for $20 so I think the price is really good. There were specials every 15 minutes or so for a free admission or a 3 for 2. I never bought a dance so I can't speak to that. But if one of the dancers caught my eye I would have.
