Executives Den - Slow evening, easy parking, didn't stay long.
On a recent trip to OH, I was able to hit clubs in both Akron and Cleveland. In Cleveland, the only club I visited is the Executives Den. This club is right off of the highway (I-90) and has a very large parking area. This club has been around since (at least) the '90's, yet, I have never seen this large lot anywhere close to full. Anyway...
I went with my buddy on a Saturday evening. We arrived around 9:30 p.m. The club does not seem to have changed much since my first, which was probably around 1991. There is a door from the parking area into the building, then a short walk through another set of doors to the main bar / stage area. As you enter, the bar is to your left and the stage is straight ahead. The bar is not large, around 5-6 stools. The stage is in the center of the room, and there are small tables and chairs surrounding the stage on an elevated level. These tables are well-positioned to watch the stage activity if you prefer to not sit at the rail. The facility itself is fine, neither fancy nor decrepit. I only drink beer so can't really speak regarding cocktails. In terms of beers, they were a very affordable 5$, but, the selection was not great. Besides the typical assortment of American mass offerings, e.g. Bud, Miller, etc., the most "exotic" offering was Heineken.
Besides my buddy, the only other people there were a few dancers, the bartender, a door guy and one other customer. It was a very slow night, I guess. The dancers were varied in terms of race, build, and engagement. There was one late 20's / early 30's dancer who was quite striking. White, long dark hair, slim, tattoos... She told us her name was Lisa, but, I later thought I heard her tell the other customer her name was Tina, so, not sure what that's about. While there is no private / V.I.P. area, I still would have gotten lap dances from her based on her looks, but, she seemed very disinterested / disengaged, which made me reluctant to pay the $20 for a dance. Bummer, as she was very hot. The other two dancers were a heavyset Black dancer, probably in her early to mid 30's and a short, either mixed or hispanic dancer whom I did not find attractive. As we were leaving, a 4th dancer emerged. She was an older white dancer, probably in her 40's. Slim but a lot of miles on her.
Overall, we were only there for about 1/2 hour. There was no cover charge. I'm not sure if this was because it was so slow or if there is never a cover. I've been here before but not enough to remember if I've ever paid a cover- sorry! During the time we were there, none of the dancers actually took the stage; they mostly sat at the bar talking to each other and the bartender. As I wrote, I considered asking for a dance from Lisa / Tina, but, her attitude and the lack of a secluded area led me to pass.
If you are on the East side of Cleveland, even just passing through on I-90, I think it is worth it to give this club a chance. Over the years, I have been here several times. In fact, in the early 90's it was the first place I ever saw a lap dance being given! The dancers, in my experience, range from fairly hot to "no thanks", not so different from many other clubs. In general, the Cleveland clubs don't offer much in terms of mileage. If you're looking for high mileage, you'd be better off heading to Detroit or, even closer, down to Akron. But, if you're on the East side and want to grab some cheap beers and, maybe, watch and talk to a hot dancer, Executives Den is worth a try. One thing that's for sure is you'll have no trouble parking!
