Visited Platinum for the first time in a year or two this week. Several changes from previous visits. The most exciting change is that the club is now non-smoking (note-platinum west in west cola is still smoking). This is great because now you don't have to bring a change of clothes with you! Another change is the bouncer being present in the couch dance area. On this day, he was a section over and never looked our way. No biggie but it does put a damper on contact.

Only three dancers the day I visited. I spoke and danced with two of them. Dances were $20 and they allowed moderate contact. Nothing like the old days. Only three customers as well. This place used to busy all hours of the day but seems to have fallen off. Cover charge was $3 and you can get a free menu item if you choose. Domestic beers were $4.75. Bartender was very friendly. Still a decent place to visit but I think it's best days are in the past.
