Just Another Day....

Stopped in here several times in the past few months during trips to Harrisburg for other reasons. I will say the lunch option, which I always choose, seems to have slipped a bit in quality. Yeah I know it is bar food, but I really think it used to be a bit more tasty. But it is a great deal in my mind. so why pay a $5 cover when for $10 you get in, a drink, and lunch (and this is not an ad, just a comment!). Anyway, the most recent visit was this past Monday, arriving around noon. I was disappointed somewhat in the talent and friendliness exhibited, not one dancer even walked by and said hello, even though I tipped them all while they were on stage. Most sat by themselves or with an apparent "regular" when they emerged from the dressing room after their set. Some never emerged, there was one that caught my eye for a dance, but she disappeared, perhaps with one of those regulars. There were about 5, maybe 6 working this day, two songs each then a change. Barkeep was attentive for the most part, even had to tell her she did not charge me for a drink, for which she heaped thanks upon me. Most of my previous visits have been ok, but this day was strange. You still have to go thru the tightest metal detector in existence (worse than an airport) and get patted down if it goes off, which it will for even a belt buckle. Men's room could use some attention, but, overall a nice place that deserves a look.
