Commotion's has undergone some changes

I haven't stopped in this club in quote while, but finally had a chance this past weekend.I had been hearing about some changes in the club, and had been wanting to see for myself.

As is always mentioned on the reviews, it is EXTREMELY easy to miss the turn for the club, even after going here for years and years. Also, the quality of the parking lot has not improved at all, so if you have the option to bring a truck or SUV, you will fare much better (lots of big potholes and rough patches on the asphalt, and the driveway is a fairly steep incline). But hey, we are out in the country in Georgia, what do you expect, I guess? Besides that they seemed to have spruced up the exterior of the building slightly, with a new coat of paint and a bench for seating outside the club.

Upon entering, we found the the cover charge is indeed now $10, versus the $5 that it was for years, but that's still not outrageous for a club on a Saturday night. Drinks are reasonably priced all around; Domestic beers are $4, and I think you'd be hard pressed to find anything they charge over $10 for. As always the bar staff is very quick to get your order or give you some change, and I found that they even still remembered my drink of choice after almost a year absence. Lapdances are still $10, but there is a caveat to that which I will discuss later.
