Visited Flags again recently – my first visit for 2 years. Not much seems to have changed. The venue is still basically an old English pub converted for dancing. I arrived at about 8.30 on what was a quiet Wednesday night. As seems normal I waited to be let in to find that I was the only patron in the place (It did get busier a bit later) Two girls were standing at the bar waiting for the “evening Rush”. This meant for the first 30 to 45 mins that I was there I had the joy of the ladies undivided attention. Not the worst thing that had happened to me that day. As more customers arrived the normal routine started – every 10minutes or so a dancer collects a £1 or so from each patron then walks around the bar area stripping followed by another tour of the bar offering private dances in one of the semi-private booths situated around the edges of the bar area. As more clients arrived a third dancer appeared.

In the interests of research I did partake of a private dance. One thing that seems to have changed since my last visit is that the dancers take your money directly rather than via a voucher system that was in operation the last time I visited. I was offered the choice of three types of dance for £20, £40 and £60 I was told the £20 dance was one song, the £40 was two songs and £60 bought me a longer dance with a little discreet touching. I choose the £60 option and received what was promised. The dance was perfectly acceptable, but not spectacular. Interesting the dancer offered the possibility of take out, there are two hotels near the club - I was passed a phone number, however, I did not take up the offer so I can offer no insight.

As I stated in my last review Flaggs is a cheap and cheerful option which now may offer slightly more if you find the right girl working when you visit.
