Plesantly Surprised

Went to Headquarters on a Thursday Night because they had a special feature Pornstar dancer at the club. Alison Tyler was making her feature dancer debut. Enter the club and was greeted by friendly doorman and "coat check" cover girl. $20 to get in. Place was emptier than expected. Regulars covered the side VIP tables, while myself and two other patrons where on the main floor in front of the main stage. The place was clean and modern. The dancers and staff definitely outnumbered patrons which is a plus side because it's like being the only one in a gourmet buffet line. Bouncers/Security were very professional and friendly. Most of the dancers were corralled by the bar, all greeted with a smile but were in their own conversations. Cocktails were $15, beers were about $10. The girls were definitely more attractive than most of the NY strip clubs I've been to. Many were surgically enhanced in different areas, but their were plenty of natural beauties as well. All different ethnicities (except Asian, I didn't happen to see one) GREAT PLUS was the fact that the girls were not pushy, and they let me enjoy the scene on my own. Most clubs I've been to, the girls prey like vultures. After seeing many dancers perform on the main stage, I greeted a girl that really caught my eye, and engaged in some lap dances and conversation. Music was widespread, the DJ played to every genre.

The feature dancer apparently took pictures in front of the club around 10pm. (I did not arrive on time for that). Her stage show wasn't until 1am. Just something to note you are visiting the club to specifically see the feature dancer. Her show times were not posted anywhere.

Even though the location is near the Jacob Javits Center which is No Man's Land when it comes to Manhattan, Headquarters was a pleasant surprise, had a great time and I would definitely go back. Great for people visiting NYC
