Tried this club on Thurs. Feb 2 after a mildly disappointing night at Brad's Gold. I had heard from a friend that the club had gone downhill since we used to visit it a few years ago, but thought we would try it anyway. It was my wife, my brother, and myself. It was my brother's birthday, and we had driven up from Cincinnati. We got there around 1 am, so things could have been running down. When we got there, there was one girl on the stage, and one girl waitressing. It turns out there were at least five girls there dancing, but they either went back to the dressing room immediately after their stage time, or went straight to the bar. No dollar dances, no offers for couch time, nothing. Examining the other patrons, I kind of understand why. The only redeeming portion of the night was our waitress, who I rate an 8 as opposed to a 3 for the club. Apparently she was supposed to dance, but the waitress had been fired, so she was waiting tables. She was a real spitfire, and a lot of fun. Since we had not had any luck at Brad's, and weren't going to have any luck with the dancers at Babe's, I grabbed the waitress and asked her to take my brother to the couch. She agreed, and after making a round to take care of the drinkers, she headed back and put a big grin on his face. Unfortunately, he has forgotten her name, but I would like to give her a big thanks for salvaging our night. I don't think, though, that we will put Babe's on our list for our return trip to Indy, which is a true shame, since we always used to have a great time when we visited.
