I arrived before 1:00

I arrived before 1:00 and the only available high seat I found was in the middle of the right wall. Usually, I wait for something else to open up, but that area didn't seem as sketchy this time. The first girl to join me told me they had kicked out all the drug dealers a couple days earlier. The number of strippers appeared way down, too, probably because their favorite drugs are harder to come by. About once a year I hear the same story about Follies cleaning house, and every time within a few weeks the dealers are back taking over their turf stronger than ever.

After the problems with A/C over the past two hot summers, it looks like they've finally got it fixed. It's really blasting away now, a little too strong early in the day, although I'm sure it's more welcome at later hours when the club gets packed with warm bodies. Meanwhile, the two huge freestanding A/C units are finally gone. The space left by the one on the DJ side has been reclaimed by the same beat up old couch with one arm hanging loose. On the restroom side, they've roped off the corner where the A/C had been and set up a larger table marked for VIP only. I think that's usually where the escort agent/pimp sets up camp, so maybe it's a personal favor to him?

I've often wondered what's up with that open VIP section to the right as you enter that's not a real VIP. It isn't used much during the day. I've never sat there. Although it looks more private than regular floor seating, dancers have told me they usually just do the same dances for guys who are willing to pay more.
