First time visitor to MBOT

Visited on a Thursday, about 8:45. Paid my $15 admission (happy hour is from 7-9, a break on the $20 day cover / $40 evening cover), given my ticket, then had my ticket taken in less than 30 seconds. I’ve never been to MBOT before, but I understand there is some history to the whole “ticket” thing - I still found it a bit silly. Oh well, I was in and was looking forward to taking in the club.

Walked in and back to the New York Live stage. The club was very quiet - maybe 4 other customers there, and 5 or 6 girls working.

Before I could even get to the New York Live stage, I was met by a tall blond Russian girl named Rita Russoff, who wanted to immediately take me to a private room. After explaining that I just got here and wanted to spend some time getting comfortable with the theater, she insisted on showing me around. I eventually agreed to a bikini dance from her. She took me to the Kopenhagen room for the dance, where she proceed to upsell me throughout the dance. I wasn’t quite feeling a connection, so I politely declined and made my way back to the New York Live stage. The place was so quiet, the NY Live stage was the only place that there was something going on.
