Boooorinnnggg!
Got off the highway for a rest stop and found Hollywood late on a summer Saturday afternoon. Reasonably safe looking neighborhood; plenty of parking. Club is clean and trying to look upscale. Long bar along one side of main room; circular center stage; lights fairly bright. One dancer on the stage, absolutely no one sitting there. Plenty of patrons with their backs to her, watching television at the bar. She greeted me. Since she looked lonely, I went over. Before I'd even sat, she had her rack out and was pulling my face into it. Who was I to complain? Attractive African girl, 35ish, bit of an accent -- she told me later she was from Nigeria. Did I want a lap dance? Seeing no competition, either from other girls or other customers, I agreed. Did I want a VIP, "where we can both play?" "Let's start with the lap dance." Those are given in a long, narrow room with a row of 8 chairs and nothing but a beaded curtain for privacy. That's OK; you won't need privacy here. (Security cameras in the room, too.) Dances are $30 for about 5 minutes; some mutual groping allowed; mileage didn't get better with the second song. She again offered an upsell to the VIP room, which she said was private, but I had a strong suspicion that it would be pretty tame. After two dances I took a quick look around. No one else was having any fun at all. Two other girls visible, no one to write home, or even to TUSCL about. I doubt I'll be back, at least at this hour. It might be more entertaining with more people -- if that ever happens. On the plus side, I paid no cover, and never did get around to ordering a drink.
