For Wednesday night, decided to try Starz. I thought I hit this club before, but it didn’t look how I remembered…made me wonder if they had done a renovation?

Sign says the club opens at 6pm; I arrived around 11pm. They share a parking lot with several small businesses that are closed at night (dry cleaners, etc). No charge to park in the lot; I think cover was $10. Layout as described by others. Nice size club…kinda cool joint to wander around. On the larger size for a black club and easily the largest of the 3 in this area. This club is more in line with most clubs I run across throughout the country and trends more toward the “make it rain” crowd. But there wasn’t too many patrons here, so not much rain in the area this night.

They kept girls rotating on stage and although I didn’t count them, they had the most dancers between the 3 spots. My surprise came when I saw a chick on stage that looked familiar to me. And the reason why is she has been all over the internet and a few videos/rap songs. This was Maliah Michel (google her) and here she was twerking on stage at Starz…lol! I admit, she kept my attention. Her body is actually kinda frumpy but she knows how to “look” sexy and has just enough azz to hold your attention. By the time you realize it’s not your typical phat azz, you’ve probably already blown a check…lol!
