Better than I expected

It had been a while since I had been to Kittens. Partially because of my schedule and partly because it's not my favorite. On this visit at least, things appear to be getting better.

This was a Friday in early afternoon (1-3pm). No cover (quite refreshing for Seattle area clubs). About 7 dancers and 7 customers. By the time I left, there could be have been closer to 10 dancers. All but one dancer were attractive and fit and the one wasn't particularly bad. Two songs each on stage and to my surprise there were two stages in operation. Maybe it was busier on Friday than other days. I don't know, so I'll have to check it out on another day sometime.

Most dancers came by and sat and chatted for a couple of minutes. The level of pushiness ranged from higher than average pressure for a private dance (but not super high) to not even mentioning a dance. Unfortunately, the ones I was most interested in were the least forthcoming about asking for or discussing a private dance. Only one mentioned the private rooms which can be quite expensive. The PDs always seemed to be quoted at 30 per song, though everywhere from 20 to 50 was mentioned somewhere in the group. I didn't get the idea that 30 was going to be very interesting among most of the dancers. As is typical in town, songs are cut to 3 minutes, so your money doesn't tend to go very far.
