Flight Club
The Flight Club was the third club I visited during a short business trip to Detroit and probably the nicest. The club has a very upscale appearance inside and out. I Ubered over after freshening up at my hotel, so I don’t know what the parking fee is, but I do remember seeing a mandatory valet parking sign. Cover charge was $10. Beer at the bar was a ridiculous $8.75 served up by an inattentive bartending staff.
There were two girls at a time dancing on the single stage in the main club area. Sitting at the bar I could see a second story mezzanine circling the main club area with rows of curtained rooms, which I assumed were VIP rooms, but I didn’t see any one using them during the approximately 90 minutes I was there. The girls were generally pretty good looking, 6+ or 7 to 9. I didn’t see any I would call drop dead gorgeous 10s.
I sat at the bar a tipped a couple of girls, but none came by after their dances. After getting off stage, most of the girls when back to tables with regulars or disappeared into a passageway behind the bar. I thought they were going into the dressing room. It wasn’t until much later, when I got a lap dance, that I realized that passageway led to a stairwell to the second floor where there was a second bar. There were a number of girls hanging out at the second level bar. Past the second story bar is a lap dance area with curtained booths.
