Tuesday Triangle Part 1
I had some free time after some Broward County work ended in the evening, so I took it as an opportunity to hit up the triangle. First stop was Cheetah Pompano. Never been here before. 2 dollars for parking & 5 to get in at about 10:30. Beers were that odd 5.25 price, so unless you leave it with the bartender you may have a lot of jingling change. Decent amount of cars outside, but when i get in, its obvious that most of the cars belong to dancers. close to 15 dancers, 5 dancing at a time. There is a stage at each bar, a stage off on the side and a main stage with two girls dancing. This was impressive, usually if there isn't much traffic, you wouldn't see so many stages in use, but I guess at Cheetah Pompano, they are keeping them off of their butts in the seats, and on the stage. With five all going at once, there is always something worth watching. In the looks department, I found them exceptional. High quality control on the looks of the dancers. However, they do have a type - spinners. If you are looking for curves, you won't find them here. Not much plastic if you are into that either, but the dancers are on average really pretty. Mostly Cubans, one AA and a good amount of white girls. I've seen some prior reviews, which state that it's hard to get attention. Well on a Tuesday, which I was told was slow by the dancers, the attention was there. I sat at the bar, and not too soon after it started. A slight tap on the back and a dancer is sitting next to you. I explained to most that it was too early yet, and just got there but maybe later. Later for a couple of them was 5 minutes, because they were RIGHT BACK very quickly. Pretty much a parade of a tap on the back and small chat. Girls were not pushy, aside from showing up maybe a bit too frequently. A white girl came up to me (frankly down here having a conversation with a dancer in English, feels weird), and started spilling her life story. She was a cosmetologist, she wasn't making any money here, she just got fired from Scarlett's where she was making a lot of money, got fired from Scarlett's because she was acting as a middleman for drug deals. She wasn't my type (skinny white girl-more on that from the triangle), but I appreciated her rap. I didn't get any dances, because it was still early & I had more on the agenda (but i can't lie I was interested-I've heard the Cheetah mileage is not great, but these were girls who were obviously trying to work, so it may have been good that night). If DDs was not good, I intended on heading back (but that didn't happen-more on that from the triangle). All in all, its not necessarily my type of place, but I'd definitely give it another shot. Very pretty dancers, and they are making them work. When I'm in a spinner mood (which is rare for me) this may be the place.
