I love this neighborhood joint because...

I love this neighborhood joint because its a neighborhood joint not an "upscale gentleman's club" type of place filled with fake tits and a wallet vacuum. Penns Port you can stop in for lunch, get a decent sandwich and a few beers while watching and chatting with some lovely fun-loving dancers. The crowd ( and theres always a crowd) is low-key and basically friendly, Philly-style. You walk right in to a U-shaped bar with a platform and a pole in the middle. Seats at the the bar and at tables around the walls. I'm always alone and I always sit at the bar so I can tip and talk to the girls when they make the rounds after dancing. A lot of the girls dance at other more typical clubs too but they say they like the relaxed feel here as a break from those places. Theres no lap dances or VIP room action, so they aren't raking in the bucks here so I recommend tipping heavy. For me its worth it for the vibe of the place and the girls that dont feel like theyre fronting. Of course, all the other options are within a minute's walk out the door if you want more than this place offers so you could start out a night here or cool down here before heading home. This is an old-school gem, i hope its around for years to come.
