I very much enjoyed my time here. Though it was hard to corral a girl and get her to pay attention to you, once you DID, and hinted that money might be spent, they were better at conversation and at giving you ... erm ... stripper-attention, than at other clubs in town. This is basically the place to take someone who doesn't like the idea of going to a strip club but secretly wants to go to a strip club, because here they make it "palatable" to the typical middle-american suburbanite bozo. Lots of "fun" going on on stage, rather than sultry seduction; lots of YOUNG little innocent-seeming women; lots of skinny women; NO ghetto-style or ugly or even Latin-style women (even though there are ethnically Latina and African-American dancers, they all "look white"). And a very carefully organized tie-in to the website and the magazine.
I think this is a well managed club. Unfortunately (for me, at least), that means that the chance of back-room shenanigans is limited. Bouncers paraded about, the girls flirted with them while sitting on my lap, etc. These are the types of experiences that make you want to date a stripper. They seem so happy, well-balanced, on the up-and-up, as though they really ARE saving up for medical school or the ol' Ph.D. in Egyptian Archaeology that they claim they're saving up for. Sweet girls. Break yer heart. I'd rather be smearing their faces with ... erm ... ya-know ... and thinking that *I'm* the man in charge, not looking at them wistfully and thinking that they have total power over me and my wallet. I realize both experiences are a fantasy, but in my fantasy the girlishness is only a thin veneer that covers a craven lunatic who needs to be controlled by my own iron fist. Craven lunatics don't work at Penthouse. Too bad, so sad.
This strange look into my desperate psyche brought to you by Book Guy. :P
