Pre-opening visit

I arrived at Deja Vu after a very short taxi ride from the border. I paid $5 for the taxi to the club and only $4 when I returned. The taxi driver on the way back was willing to take me for only $3, because it's such a short trip, but I was nice and gave him $4. It is so close to the border that you may be able to walk there. The club advertises a free shuttle from the border, so if you see it, your transportation to and from the club could be free, but you probably want to tip the driver at least a $1 or $2.

I showed up for the grand opening party, but I got there too early. I was able to enter the club though. I walked around, checked it out, and spoke to some of the employees to get information.

I was told that there would be no cover charge and that beers would cost about $3. They said lap dances would cost $15 for one song. You can rent a VIP room for 30 minutes that costs $25, plus whatever you negotiate with the dancer for her services. It sounds as though everything is on the menu in VIP and that there is even a bed in there.
