Let me add on to my recent "props" comment about this club. This is probably the main ghetto black strip club with thick booty-shaking black girls in DC. The worst thing is the $20 cover charge. Real DMV strip club goers remember when this club used to be called The Penthouse and entry was free, but you were sent straight to the bar to buy a drink. On this Saturday night, where I made sure that there were only FEMALE dancers (see my previous Prop comment for more), it was a $20 cover charge around 11:00pm and there were only about 10 girls working the club, and not many customers. No smoking allowed inside. The place wasn't that crowded. However, the good news is that the no-touching rule that is in DC is not enforced here. In fact, some of the girls will give you lap dances on the low and allow you to touch them as you tip them on the side stages. It is pretty nice having a thick naked black girl come off stage to grind on you and let you grab her ass and she puts her bare tits in your face as you give her a tip. That's how a dance should be. Cover charge and drinks are too expensive, I paid almost $8 for a beer. I guess that is how they make their money. There are some upstairs areas that used to be open to the public, now appear to be VIP (why does every DC and MD club now insist on having a VIP area for extra charge?!), but I didn't go up there. I was fine sitting in the chairs and couches in the club. One main stage, a couple side stages, and some girls walking around nude or bottomless here and there. The good thing about this club is the girls get butt naked on stage always and give a good show. Unlike PG County MD clubs, the clubs that have not been shut down yet, where girls just sit around on their phones and hope to get a lap dance and never take anything off. Not a bad spot to chill and have a drink if you don't mind the steep cover charge and drink prices. This is the best you'll get in DC for a ghetto cheap black strip club, it always has been, I've been here off and on for years even with all the changes in the layout and the DMV laws.
