I managed to visit this place...
I managed to visit this place during a monger's trip to Houston. Didn't dislike it, and I think if I'd been there during prime time it might have been enjoyable. Lots of situations where one guy, six girls, lots of liquor, were all splayed about a given table somewhere near the stage. Dark-skinned women, primarily; and dark-skinned men as customers, entirely, except for li'l ol' crackuh me. But that seemed cool, nobody was negative about my minority status, and I think the only color that really matters to management or dancers is green. I spent a little bit on stage tipping -- in general African-American clubs have a greater contingent of men who just lay on bill after bill onto a given girl, like $15 or $20 of them in $1 increments for her whole set, than mostly-white clubs in the same cities. So I felt like it was fun to go with the flow. But then, that kind of flow (wallet-sourced out-flow) gets old fast. I didn't really see any girls who turned my crank SO much that I had to sit around and put up with the high smoke and low class factors (lots of yelling and "you go girl!" stuff, and some sixteen-inch fingernails, you know the type), too much cigarrette smoke. If I had the "chocolate fever" or had a friend who did, I guess this would be an awesome club. And if I wanted to get seriously drunk, then it is great to know that among the more organized clubs (basically, those in the Westheimer area that have large parking lots, decent security, a full bar, and can get their act together enough to put an ad in that monthly "Vibe" or whatever it's called), this club is the one that has the cheapest full-alcohol drinks.
But I don't have chocolate fever any more than any other skin-color fever, and I don't usually get drunk. So, this place is just passable to me. But definitely worth the visit if you know that it has what you're looking for.
