First time to Chica's

After a round of golf at GCU (highly recommended, the greens are in top condition), decided to try out Chica's and see if I could spot the now infamous Rosie. Arrived there a little after 1pm on Friday, found a parking spot and walked in. Club is small; maybe slightly smaller than Hi-Liter. Front third of the club is dominated by a pool table and the bar, The pool table was being used by some rednecks who definitely looked like they've spent their whole lives in the AZ sun. A square stage rests in the middle of the rear of the club, surrounded by a row of tables and then booths behind those. There are three flat screen TVs mounted to the walls that play videos of the music being mixed by the DJ. Music was a mix of rap, hip hop, Spanish rap, Spanish hip hop and Ranchero (!). Played loudly. Very loudly. Crowd was split between working class Latinos and the aforementioned drunk middle aged white guys. I found it remarkable that these dudes came HERE to play pool; I find it hard to believe they liked or even understood the music that was blasting out of the speaker system.

Today was predominantly AA dancers, with a number of Latinas and a smattering of white chicks (not tweakers, which one might expect on this side of town). Think Band-Aids, without the apparent diamonds-in-the-rough that makes BA so much fun. A lot of thickness,especially among the Latina and white chicks. Literally as soon as I sat down, a slender black chick sat down at my table and adhered herself to me. She'd ask me small-talk questions and I'd answer them politely, and finally, after 15 minutes, she asked if I wanted to dance. I turned her down, and she proceeded to stay at my table and attach herself even moreso to me. For 50 fucking minutes she would not leave, and it looked like my visit would be a washout, as she effectively cock-blocked any other dancer from approaching. Fortunately, there were few I wanted to have approach, so I wasn't too bent out of shape and didn't kick her out of my table.

She finally excused herself and another slender black AA dancer named Jade came over. Though lacking the titties I want, she definitely seemed up for action. Dances are $10 in the booths, and the VIP area by the DJ booth is $25 with $15 going directly to the house.. I started off slow, not knowing what was and was not allowed in this club, which has floaters that go around to check on the dancers. What goes on? Not as much as Band-Aids or HL, but definitely a lap that is worth the ten-spot. I did four dances with Jade, and then spotted a very busty Latina dancer. Didn't think it was Rosie, as this girl was not petite, just really curvy. Turned out to be Estrella, sporting a pair of at least DD's and she knew how to use them. We did 10 VIP songs and I was very pleased with her performance. A nice touch: at the halfway mark, she actually told the correct amount of dances we had done (no overcounting) and she wanted to make sure I wanted to continue. After the 10, it was time to bounce out, no Rosie to be found but a new club added to the rotation. We'll see what the weekend brings, as that is my usual time to club.
