Underwhelming for a Friday after work hours
I usually go to Rick's, but got a No Cover pass for this joint which is closer to my work location. Decided Friday after 5pm to check the place out for a couple of drinks. I found the overall club experience to be a bit underwhelming, for a Friday afternoon after 5pm, the place looked dead, far more patrons than dancers around. I took a seat at the bar toward the back and quickly realized it easily obstructed my view of the main stage. It was easy for other patrons to block my view given the bar location relative to the stage.
I'd say no more than 8 girls were working in a place of about 15 guys. I actually didn't mind this as much, means I could be left alone and sip on my drinks. I did eventually start talking to a dancer named Loa (or Lola). Music was far too loud to have any sort of decent conversation but Loa was a doll, I loved her tattoos. She was a looker, but no drop dead gorgeous which is pretty much most of the dancers here. The place did feel a little more authentic as the girls normally wear underwear or bikinis vs the gowns most of the dancers wear at Rick's.
Eventually got a $20 dance from Loa, she didn't push a private room or another dance, left the club largely feeling satisfied, but to feel dead on a Friday after work hours is a bit concerning.
