Club Knockout is a knockout!

I was down in LA for fun, and the only time I could meet up with a friend was on a Saturday night after he got off work. After catching up, he suggested going to a club. He looked on Yelp, and the closest club was Club Knockout. It had an inconsistent bunch of reviews, but it was close by so we picked it.

The location is a nice wide side street, and I didn't see any parking, so street parking it was. We went in and the guy at the counter was really cool. Admission was $10 per person. None of the Deja Vu admission/drinks bs that I'm used to with the Seattle clubs. We went in, and to your left is the stage with two poles, and to the right is the bar. Oh damn! Beer! What a foreign concept. The ATM is right to your right from entering the club and at the end of the bar. The ATM fee is $5, which almost seemed reasonable compared, again, to the Seattle Deja Vus that are $7.

The music was louder than it needed to be, and of course the club was a bit darker than it needed to be. I was a bit confused about the dance prices, as the big screen shows dances are $10, and $25. Fifteen minute private dances are $100. I guessed that the $10 dances were maybe chair dances, and $25 dances were booth dances. I grabbed a C from the ATM and hoped that I would get a fun dancer for the 15 minute option.
