Slow August Afternoon

Had the afternoon off and decided to stop by Platinum - a few cars in the parking lot indicated a slow day. Got inside and there were less than 5 girls on shift. All stages were empty. Ordered a couple of cold beers and stayed for over an hour hoping some reasonable talent would show. Gave up and left - the servers all said things have been really slow lately. Word has it the only real action to be had is on weekend nights. On the bright side, they FINALLY banned all smoking inside! It will likely take years for the smell to go away but this is a big plus for us non-smokers. The bartender is HOT and the beers are COLD but sadly the scenery is much better at Hooters than here these days.
