Low Key
I wanted to see if the weekday action picked up here so I drove over for a late lunch hour over a Corona, Safe parking lot and a low cover of only $2. With only a few guys seated at the bar, the bartender could be friendly, efficient and offer good service - while chatting with all the customers. However, only two dancers, both Latinas, about a heavy 5 and a slimmer 6, were rotating on stage - and what looked like 2 regulars were putting out a lot of singles. I offered a couple singles and the slimmer Latina quickly asked if I wanted a backroom dance, saying go to room? I replied that we should talk but she spoke little English, other than "backroom" and sat out her last song - so I declined. I enjoyed the Coronas and music for an hour, then left. This club definitely needs more and better talent - or even the handful of regulars may disappear.
