Slick Club, but I suspect YMMV

To maintain truth in reporting, I was in town on business and basically came here to visit one of my ATF dancers who had worked back on my home turf that had moved here last year. She likes it here, at least compared with a club she had worked at earlier in Durham, shared a few items with me about the place, and we partaked of both a 30 min VIP session (for $300, definitely consistent with the $10/min market rate that seems to be afflicting the East Coast) and one of the hourly (after 10 pm) 2 for $40 downstairs in the lap dance areas, actually good mileage but it may have been made more special by my ATF :))))). Others have written about the bouncers. They do seem pervasive, but I got a strong sense that certain dancers tell the bouncers to stand down a bit if they are with a regular. Bottom line, I had a great time, but in large part because of who I was with. In the end it's about the girls. Each will have their preferences and favorites, though this place is probably has fewer WOC and more blondes than most East Coast clubs.

The club itself could pass for a nice mafioso steak house, though the car wash on the side with the girl in the bikini talking to a guy with a hose did create an interesting image in my mind. I parked my car myself to save on the valet expense (perhaps a mistake given the massive deluge that hit just as I was leaving later that night). It was just before 8 and the girl at the "box office" type alcove in front told me I needed to buy a membership. For $5, and no cover (I guess that's later in the evening), I signed my life away (using an old address), received my "card", and walked through a long dark corridor. Turn left and you enter a big room, with a bar on the far left, and a series of 3-seat tables surrounding the large 2-level stage which much of the night looks to be a giant industrial expanse of metal with a few poles for good measure, and about 2-3 dancers on stage at any given time. However, the tips go on stage or in the garters, no liplock tip exchanges at the edge of the stage, nor strategic bill placements between the boobs. I guess this is a family strip club (or Bible Belt strip club, anyway). At the top of the hour, the girls are introduced one by one by name and origin, and the 2-for-$40 dances are offered. It's all fab, but on this night the guys were probably outnumbering the girls (although there were at least 20-25 girls). I had my ATF waiting for me at a table near the entrance so all was good.

They do serve food here, pretty good and reasonable based on what I had (wings, burger, and I forgot what side). Their drink specials weren't too bad either ($5 for rum and coke, but it was Bacardi as opposed to my favorite, Sailor Jerry's , which apparently hasn't permeated East Coast strip clubs yet).
