A little on the sketchy side
A little on the sketchy side. This place has been here forever, and it's infamous around the area. I even remember my grade school teachers making jokes about Suzy's 15 years ago or so. It's not a gentleman's club, so much as a neighborhood dive bar where there are usually naked women. I say usually, because it seems like the dancers sometimes forget who's supposed to go on stage, or just decide no one wants to go on for a while. There's no DJ, as one girl is on stage, the next chooses her songs and adds them to the playlist on a computer they have set up. This tends to lead to problems when they forget to set anything up and it shuffles to something undanceable. Since there's no DJ, the music choices are all over the place, from normal strip club fare, to Ray Charles, to Pink Floyd. The whole place is pretty small, the stage is tiny, and half the bar can't get a good view of it. Beer prices are cheap, I think the lap dance was $15 or $20. The lap dance area is just a tiny little bench hidden behind a bead curtain.
The talent is all over the map as far as looks and dancing ability. Some of the dancers look to be close to 50. Some don't dance so much as sway drunkenly. On the other hand, the next dancer could easily end up being a gorgeous 20-something who knows how to work the pole. I've seen white, black and spanish girls here. The main standouts: Nyla, about an 8/10 black girl, maybe 30, very sweet and friendly, good dancer, good lap dancer. Lucy, 9.5/10, gorgeous white girl, really nice, fun to talk to, amazing on stage. She doesn't do lap dances though.
I'd recommend stopping in for a drink, seeing how the talent is that night. If you like what you see, stick around. If not, go down the road to creekside. This place is good for what it is, I'll be back.
