Still the same

In a search for variety, I stopped in here on a Thursday afternoon after swearing it off a few years ago. I was hoping things had changed. The other reports about the ceiling being ripped apart are still true. No sign of when they’re going to have it cleaned up and looking like something again. It’s incredibly dark inside, making it hard to see where you’re going. I almost walked into several chairs stumbling around.

There were about 4-6 girls “working”, and by that I mean they were doing almost anything but working. The girls here always seem to be going somewhere: To the DJ booth, to the backroom, to the bar or backstage. Lots of walking around, very little interaction with the customers, as a few of us were sitting alone for the entire hour I was there. It’s the same experience I had before. It’s still very hard to get the attention of the girls.

After about 20 minutes of watching a baseball game I had no interest in, a dancer finally took the stage. London started dancing on the pole with her eyes shut most of the time, looking like she wanted to be anywhere else but there. She barely noticed the one guy who came to the stage to tip her. Another tall blond took the stage after her and pretty much played exclusively to the guy she was sitting with before. Again, it was hard if not impossible to get the attention of any of the girls.
