My viewpoint as a dancer...

Last night was my first night working at Desire as a dancer. For a Saturday it was soooooo slow!!!!! There were 7 girls working including me. Can't honestly say any of them were over a 5 (sorry to say considering they were nice). The girls do the tip walk here. Don't expect to be wow'd by their stage performances though. All of us were black except for 2 which were white.

The club is a rectangle with the stage being in the center and the bar all around. It's light enough to see everyone but not like a doctor's office. Music is played manually through a jukebox which costs dancers $10 at the end of the night. VIP dances are in a semi private area and are 3 for $60 which includes a drink for the dancer or $120 for half an hour. Dances are $225 in the private private room. To sit and talk with a dancer you must buy dances or her a $25 drink which she makes $10 off. I sold 5 drinks but only got paid for 4. Instead of trying to recall my sells, they got defensive! Other than the club being slow paced, I had nothing bad to say about the place until this happened. I will never return because of that. I don't care if it's just $10, I don't like dishonesty.

I would recommend any club in the city besides this one. The bartenders are buff guys (this is important if you like eye candy), you can practically "hear a rat piss on cotton", and there will be moments you don't even hear music. Guys drinks are regular priced I think but there are better club options in the city.
