So close but nothing

It had been a long hard week, and since I had a few hours free around noon on Friday – I figured I would stop by. I know that it can be hit and miss early in the day but I decided to give it a try. When I got there only 2 dancers were working but they said 3 were going to start soon.

Each dancer does a 2 song stage performance. The two that were working did their stage performances, then it was time for stage maintenance and then the stage was empty for another set. I was starting to wonder if the comment about more starting soon was just a story to get me in.

Well finally a new dancer went on stage and in the middle of first song I saw a dancer that looked like one that I would want to get to know walk up to one of the other customers. They left to go into the dance area. Since I like to see a dancer perform on stage before getting a dance from them I decided to wait and see. Of course the other new dancer was up first and then the one I wanted to see did not come up for her first song.
