Brutal

Ventured to expand my horizons, and found a real dud called Ballpark Tavern. Physically the club is the opposite of upscale, which itself isn't bad. Lots of woodwork. The stage is near-floor level and in good viewing distance from the 15 or so seats around the bar. You could hang out for awhile, have a few beers and even shoot some pool. Nude but with alcohol because it's PA. The club and the format are OK enough. The problem is the dancers and the value. There were 4 dancers and 2 customers. I didn't get any attention from the dancers, who seemed to be occupied with their phones or listening to the one dancer who couldn't stop talking loudly on and on. Eventually the best looking one (maybe a 6-7) went on stage and we made some eye contact so she came around after her set. Nothing erotic barside, but in the name of research I still took her for a dance. Decent sized room with a comfy black loveseat. Dancer was quite business-like and the options were ludicrous. You figure given everything else, there would be some value in the lap dance room. But it was just the opposite - a low end club with a high end attitude ! Truly laughable. Cut my loss after one $30 song and headed over to sanity (PL).
