I came around 11:15pm on a Thursday. $10 cover, no patdown and no metal detector. Club doesn't need patdowns or metal detectors by looking at the customers and the fruity music, so I still felt safe without a weapons check at the door.

I first got a pity dance from a crackhead dancer whose breath and sweat odor was so bad I forgot her name and everything else about her so its not in this review. I then got a dances from Sadie, a goth heavy tats petite 24 year old. They were okay but I wouldn't repeat because of her aggressive hustle for tips and attempts to overcharge me for dances. I then got dances from Tiffany, a perfect skinny 23 year old petite college girl. High mileage LDs and a good conversationalist, I would repeat with her. The price here is $30 per song for booth semi private LD, $200 VIP room for 15 mins, $30 LDs are very dancer variable, negotiate for touching before agreeing to a $30 dance. Officially $30 LDs are everything covered but some dancers will flash you alot. No fee coat check. $6 for Diet Coke. $100 VIP room is Mondays only. Music is top 40, rock, metal, and EDM. The music is prevents any thugs and gangbangers from coming. 90% of the customers are white, 90% of dancers are white. Dancers range from waif worn out druggies to heavy tat pro strippers, to MILFs to college and teen and former runway models and pornstar look. Lots of silicon. Lots of skinny and tall, and skinny and short. 2 AA, 1 middle eastern, 1 latina, other 10-15 were white. One natural redhead with freckles. Just 2 dancers "had an ass", the others had nothing to shake but I love that this SC doesn't have fat dancers. The hiring process seems to be, manager asks stripper to twerk, if she does she is told to go back to the block, if she says "I cant twerk, I have no fat on my ass" she is hired. More post partum tits than I'd like to see, but all post partums were skinny with rock hard abs so its not a disaster dancer choice wise. All people of color were classy and well dressed, hell almost every customer had a buttoned collared shirt on, not all (a couple tshirts but very rare). Some wore full suits and ties. Dress up coming here. I dont believe any minority would have problems coming here as long as they carry themselves as upscale gentlemen. I did see some senior black men receive attention and go up for LD with dancers multiple times. No hookah here. Bathroom has an attendant with typical supplies. Just 1 mens toilet for the whole SC which isnt good and a line forms for the toilet. Pole stage is set up that you can make it rain from 2nd floor onto 1st floor stage and it was done a couple times tonight. The DJ is on podium/3rd floor looking down at the 2 main stage poles. Each dancer does ONE song on stage, rarely 2 songs. If 2 songs, then 1 song at each pole. This is unusual since most SCs IME do 3 songs on stage. I know there was some kind of ejection or phone pic accusation drama once while I was on FL 2 getting $30 LDs. Otherwise I never saw any security doing rules enforcement or being assholes. There was drama between customers and strippers with staff silently looking and standing by as customers claimed they dont have the cash on them and I think customers were using invalid cards at the SC ATM, then "leaving" to the car to get cash and not coming back. I witnessed a dispute between an AA dancer and an old AA customer over unpaid dances from a previous visit. Most of the bouncers look like waiters and are as short and thin as dancers. This isnt a SC that hires bouncers on being 6' 3" linebackers with shaved heads and by how many pounds they benchpress. No intimidation. I never experienced being forced to buy a drink for myself or a dancer. No "drink hustle" even though the club sells alcohol. $30 LDs are paid directly to dancer, not to a POS. Be very upfront over song count and how much cash you have, dances on "credit" seems to be common here which causes drama but these are repeat customers probably. One of my dancers tonight forced me to check my wallet before continuing past 1 $30 song so she knew there is drama here and dont wanna pay BS from customers. My ID was checked but never scanned/computer logged. Unlike some SCs that operate like prison visitation rooms, Ritz is very light on security. They dont assume you are a cant be trusted criminal walking in. I like that atmosphere. Dancers usually sit with customers here, probably all regulars, not on their phones in the corner. This is a double edged sword since getting that 7-10 score dancer to sit with you will take a long time. "dislodging a stripper from her regular" needs to be done here if you want a good experience. Either stage ask their name or stop them while walking to the DR so they remember to visit you. If you desperate there will always be 1 dancer free sitting by herself somewhere, but I am not going chat up a dancer I wouldnt stage tip or buy LDs from. Overall, I will absolutely be back, but preferably on Mondays for the $100 VIP room.

The block Ritz is on seems safe and enough people walking around at night. I never felt unsafe on the 4 immediate blocks radiating from Club Ritz. 1 block south of Ritz is a gentrified club/bar/entertainment district. 2 blocks north of Ritz is a typical Baltimore bombed out post apocalyptic neighborhood I got to tour on the MTA 10 bus.
