Pretty Women, Shitty Attitudes.

I arrived at BT's around 11pm tonight. I was well dressed, did my best to smile when I made eye contact with someone and still didn't have the best of nights. A waitress arrived after about 3 or 4 songs. I believe her name was Ashley. She was very nice and attentive. I had a Corona and she would periodically check up on me to see if I'd like another. I ordered the Caesar salad and while it took too long to prepare, the food was worth the wait. All the time I was there, I tried to have a good time. I only tipped one dancer on the stage as no one was really tipping the dancers. However, it appeared that the dancers completely ignored my existence. I'm a big dude and was wearing a shirt that clearly stood out due to the fact that the black lights made it glow. However, I've never felt more invisible that this night at BT's. I managed to stick around for 90 minutes with over $500 in my pocket and no one to spend it with. Maybe there's something wrong with me that I don't see. I don't know. After only interactions with the valet, Ashley, and the guy by the door, I finally threw in the towel and decided to go home. I really wanted to get out and have a good time. I saw others having friendly conversations with dancers while I sat there and felt awkward. Was it me? I wish someone would let me know. BT's, you let me down. I don't think I'll be back for a while.
