Great time
It had been a long week and my favorite Albuquerque dancer was working this night so I went to see her and relax a bit. Pulled into the parking lot and found plenty of spaces. The usual pat-down entry and only $6 cover this night. A feature dancer was advertised but after looking her up online I was hoping I did not have to run into her. Just not my type.
After paying the cover and entering the club a bouncer/host, whatever you want to call him, asked where I wanted to sit? WTF, is this the HiLiter? I don't need help finding a place to sit at this club. He kind of insisted on seating me and it just rubbed me the wrong way. I pointed to the nearest empty seat/table and told him I was going to sit there. He seemed a bit pissed and even made a comment about me not needing to be rude about it. He also said it was required I have him seat me. WTF again. From now on if I encounter this I'll tell them I'm headed to the bar. Not sure if he was looking for a tip or if there is some new policy in place, but be aware of this.
Once the minor annoyance of getting into the club and finding a seat was complete, my favorite girl was in my lap with a minute and the fun began. We had a few drinks and caught up on things and then headed to VIP where a fine time was had by both of us. While in VIP the feature dancer came on stage so I didn't have to deal with watching her and all the annoying PLs features often attract. Nothing wrong with feature dancers, they just are not my thing. The crowd sounded appreciative of her efforts.
