Local Club

I've been coming to Temptations on a fairy regular basis for over a year now. The club itself is cleaner then some of the other area clubs but small. You walk in the door and the bar is immediately in front of you in a U-shape with the stage in the center of the bar area. There are a few tables to the wall to your left that still offer great views of the stage without having to be right at the bar. Drink prices are normal for a Long Island club with beers averaging $7-$8 and drink specials on certain nights. Down a hallway at the far end of the bar area are the multiple private dance rooms which are spacious with a comfortable couch and a small table for your drinks, but they do have a camera that sits right to the side of you obviously watching your every move. Dances are normal cost with $20-$40 dances up to an hour dance for a few hundred that comes with a small bottle of champagne. The atmosphere and sounds at the club are relaxed as the place is normally slow on any given weeknight.

The girls are mixed both in ethnicity and looks, there are Latinas, African Americans, and some local Caucasians. While there are no 10's there are a few 7's but also the occasional 3-4. It's a refreshing change from the mostly Eastern European girls at some of the other local clubs. The girls here are friendly and will try to make their money but will not be overly aggressive about you getting a dance, and if you don't get a dance the majority of the staff will still be friendly afterwards. Going there for as long as I have now the girls recognize you as a regular and will greet you, treat you very friendly, and if slow enough hang out with you with no pressure to dance.

Overall, it's well worth what they charge; this is the place where you come to have fun and relax, not be pressured by the staff and enjoy your drink while watching the girls; if you choose to get a dance though there is always a girl around for you and you can for the most part choose your pick at any time.
