Nothing Special in New Orleans on this Trip

Back in 2009 I had a great experience in the strip clubs along Bourbon Street in New Orleans. This was unfortunately not the case this time around. I started at Rick’s Cabaret as it reportedly had the best talent. I don’t know if I caught it on an off night, but I didn’t see anything that interested me. VIPs read on.

Immediately upon my arrival at Rick’s Cabaret a very average looking Russian woman came by my seat and immediately started the hustle; other reviews had warnings to this effect. She spoke of the opportunity to have two women with me upstairs where it was more private and that it would be well worth the money (wink – wink). Since she was not near my taste, and I could not see anyone else walking around to make it worthwhile, then I used the standard line of saying that I had just arrived and wanted to sit and absorb the atmosphere for a little bit before having any private dances; I expect that they know that this usually means that I am not interested in them. I hung around for 20 minutes to see if anyone very attractive came to the floor, but no luck. I left and then walked into at least a half dozen of the clubs along or just off Bourbon street. A couple of these had small cover charges (<$20) which I had no concern in paying just to take a look. I was hoping and expecting to find a diamond in the rough, but no luck at all. I had just such a cutie at Barely Legal in 2009, and my pocket was loaded with a few hundred to spend this time around but I always choose to wait rather than blow I on a sub-great experience. OK, I should probably mention that I am really picky. I really like them slim, happy, and personable. I respect the fact that it is unreasonable to expect many of them to fill all these items, but I hold out for this combination as it makes for really great memories and the thrill of anticipating similar or even better experiences in the future. I will be in Prague in early September (definitely a contender for the best city in the work for strip club; go if you ever have the chance), and I am sure that I will have some really good stories to share upon my return.
