Fun with Ricky
I stopped at Cowboys on a Thursday around 4:00 in the afternoon. There was no cover charge and my Bud Light was $2.75. I have not been to Cowboys in well over a year and there were a few changes to note.
The first one is the parking lot. I have always entered this club from New Circle Road by cutting through parking lots behind the Burger King to get to Cowboys. However, this time there was a gate and I had to go back to Russel Cave to reach the parking lot.
Second, they have upgraded the interior quite a bit. The chairs were comfortable and lots of TVs all over the club. The bar is still on your right when you walk in with a second bar in the back left corner next to the bathroom. The lap dance and VIP areas are on the left behind the DJ. There are two stages, the first is in the center of the room. It was large and had several poles for the dancers. There was a smaller stage off to the left that was not used while I was there. They also still allow smoking in the club which seems to be quite a rarity in other cities. One last thing to note about the interior was that I was happy to note that there was a clock to the left of the main bar. I never bring my phone to the club and I don’t wear a watch so I am always worried about the time during my brief daytime visits.
