Saturday fireworks

I met my buddy at the No. 5 at 6:45pm on a Saturday night. It is fireworks night in downtown Vancouver, so the place was fairly dead as many don't want to fight the traffic.

It was also UFC 201 fight night, so there is a $10 cover charge. They also scan in your ID now, so if you need to stay under the radar, don't go there.

We watched UFC and in between fights they had dancers on stage. The dancers walking around for me were probably the worst I've seen in a long time, as big butts ruled the room and I don't like big butts. On the plus side if you tell the girls that you are watching UFC, they pretty much leave you alone during the fights. As the fights end we notice that there are a lot better dancers rolling in after 9pm. Also, LE rolls in and starts checking ID's of many of the younger crowd. Kind of kills the dancers chances of getting dances as everyone is waiting for the Police to leave, but you see more of the girls mulling about. There was a Miley Cyrus looking girl named Sasha, who was heavily tatted, including her whole left arm who peaked my interest, but while LE was there we didn't want to take anyone for a dance. By the time the Police left, the fireworks ended and it became too crowded so we left.

This place is hit or miss. Probably won't be back for another 6 months.
