Follies on Steroids

Holy Shit! Went to Follies today after a month 1/2 or more break. I usually try to review at least one other club before reviewing the same one again. In the last few months however I have been clubbing much, much less due to an incredibly satisfying OTC connection. Today however, I went in to work for a little while and then found myself at Follies just after lunch. Was able to snag a favorite chair near the DJ and then waited as customers and dancers arrived. It wasn't too long until Shadowcat came in wearing one of his famous t-shirts. We chatted a while and then some of the dancers began to circulate.

Being the boy genius that I am, I decided it would be good to text a few of my usual dancer friends to see if they would be working. I should have just taken pot luck, but it had been a while since I had been in, and I didn't figure it would hurt to check in with a few of them. Well, one came in that was planning on taking the day off then another said she was coming to see me then showed up, then another past companion.... yep, they were all coming over at almost the exact same time.... to steal a line from Crazy Joe - shit, shit shit. I guess I probably care too much, but I felt bad for having everyone there hoping to extract $$ from me at the same time and only taking one to VIP. I'm sure they figured it out! :))

By 3pm, the club was really, really packed...too much for my tastes. Difficult to navigate the floor, near the couches or anywhere near the VIPs or restrooms. Some of the girls I know were complaining that more and more of the groups of 3-4 guys are coming to the club but not buying dances or VIPs. There was also a TON of girls on the floor. Hungry dancers, with lots of customers, but only a few spending, made for an interesting, dynamic afternoon. I'm not sure when I will go back, but I will probably start back sticking to just mid week, weekdays. Fridays, Saturday and Sunday have gotten too crazy for this guy.
