Thank goodness for 2 for 1's

I continued to follow the Kilt to Royale pattern on a nice summer night. The place was filling up after 10 PM and it was already notable for the number of under-21 customers sporting their florescent wrist bands and plastic drink cups. For the most part, they are pretty useless, since they rarely have money, but some of the girls in the groups are super hot. In at least one case, a table of youngsters were clearly friends with several of the equally young dancers. For the most part things are pretty consistent. There was still some sort of buffet food on a table by the entrance and I was told that the patio had been nicely fixed up, though I forgot to check it out. I noticed several tables taking advantage of a discounted bottle service and the VIP section was busy all evening. The practice of raining dollar bills onto the stage was being widely practiced by the guys and couples seated stage side. Although goofy to the jaded SC veteran, it makes the dancers happy and that is good. There was some better-than-average music being chosen by the mostly white dancers, including "Death Metal Barbie" by the band In This Moment and "Iron Man" by Black Sabbath. It was a nice break from the endless rap and hip-hop that permeates some clubs. There were no product giveaways while I was there and only one 2 for 1. I only got table (mostly air) dances from 2 performers (passed on the $20 upstairs this time). One was a 2 for 1 that I stretched to a 3 for 2 with a friendly, 30ish, tattooed blonde; the others were with a girl that has a 9 body and an 8 girl-next-door face. She is one of several really pretty girls in the place, with others ranging from 6-8 depending on your taste. Had a couple of $5 Guinness's with an accompanying (and refilled by the server) glass of ice water, and shared Washington Apples with the friendly shot girl. Got out before midnight with the young crowd and good looking women still coming in. Clean, efficient, friendly, and predictable, the Royale is fine for an evening of people watching and gawking at topless (no pasties at least!) young women. By the way, the Royale and Lodge now share the visiting porn stars by apparently driving them back and forth (they are about an hour apart) on the same nights instead of alternating nights. The one coming to the Royale in early August has just one midnight show both nights she is scheduled.
