it is true: they did indeed have an aggressive hustle
Well, the reviews you read about this place nearly being a con game were correct for my visit in Fall 2015. Before describing the problems, first, the upside: The girls were pretty nice and fairly attractive and the dance was moderately fun. And, I did see one group of guys (I think on a bach party or biz trip) being able to enjoy themselves like it was a normal strip club...meaning they were sitting around a stage and offering dollar bills to a dancer. BUT, single guys seemed to be badgered and lead through a con game. This club does indeed put on a very strong and pre-planned/orchestrated hustle. Within minutes of getting there, they made me sit in a specific place while I was told about the requirements (!?). They INSISTED that a backroom lap dance was mandatory immediately. Fine, I agreed just to get past what I assumed would be the main hustle. But, it didn't stop there. They then insisted on going for an expensive VIP dance. I declined that (against their protests), and they backed down and just had normal small talk for a while. At that point I thought I had successfully "proved" I wasn't in the mood to be hustled. But later, once I had decided on my own terms to pay for a VIP private dance, which was pricey, they then tried to pile on extra charges, saying those were mandatory (expensive bottles/drinks). (Oh, and yes, I think the drinks are all non-alcoholic. Why do they not just admit that? Why try to pass them off as real drinks??!). At that point I no longer felt comfortable in that place, so I backed out of the VIP dance and left. I don't understand why they can't just be a normal club...why the aggressive games?
