Ended up at Dollies twice during...

Ended up at Dollies twice during my visit to St Louis. I checked out the dayshift after Wise Guys, and then headed back after Miss Kitty's to checkout the night shift.

There was no cover during the day. Dancers working were Jo jo, Keeley, Haley, Asia and J-lo. All of them had to be over forty. Asia was an older white woman I tried to talk to at the bar. Hell I ended up sitting right next to her so why not? She wasn't much into talking since she told me she was counting down the minutes until she could leave at 7. That seemed to be the attitude of all the dancers. Just hanging around until they got off at seven. That left me only the bartender, Janie, to talk to. I ordered a couple of $5 Miller Lite bottles and shot the shit with her. She made sure I didn't run low on pretzels. i'd come back just to talk with her. She told me to come back after seven when the night shift would be in.

I came back around nine after a crumby time at Miss Kitty's. The guy at the door remembered me from earlier so he just told me to come in and forget about the cover. The girls that night were Mocha, Beautiful, Unique (seems to be a very popular name around Washington Park), Cherry and Ashley. The bartender this time around was an older woman named Terry. Janie was just leaving so she told the night crew to "take care of me". I think the only one that heard her was Terry, because she and I talked for my entire visit. Mocha (a young black pretty girl) sat next to me. What surprised me was that she didn't give me the Washington Park handshake. Could be she thought I was a friend of the bartenders? The other girls that I did see on the floor weren't much to write home about. After two beers I left--with plenty of money in my pocket. I will be back. Hopefully next time I'll have more than just great conversation with the bartenders to write about.
