I went to Bare Elegance on a Tuesday night around 19:30. I will preface by saying that this club caters to out of town travelers staying near the airport and businessmen flying through LAX. They try to extract as much money from you as quickly as possible because they will probably not see you again. There is a $5 parking fee, even if you want to self-park your car. Next, there was a cover charge of $10. Then there is a one drink minimum. A waitress locked onto me before I even found a place to sit down. A glass of mostly ice and barely any soda was $6. So before my ass even hit the seat, I was already out $21.

Bare Elegance is a fully nude club, but only non-alcoholic beverages are sold. There were four separate stages from what I saw, but only one was operating during my visit. The stage shows were low energy and tipping at the stage did not get much attention. There were around a dozen dancers and even fewer customers. Topless lap dances were quoted at $41 and nude lap dances were quoted at $51. Three topless dances in the VIP were $103. Three nude dances in the VIP were $133. Sometimes there are two-for-one specials. They are still not a good deal because songs seemed to be clipped. You pay the bartender after the dances instead of the dancer.

The dancers here are above average in looks and pushiness. Most of the entertainers appeared to be Hispanic or Asian with a few European ladies thrown in. Almost all were fit. I’d say they ranged between 5’s and 9’s on a numerical scale. The problem is that they knew they were hot, so they hustled hard. I was hit by a lot of drive-by “wanna dance’s”. If a dancer sat down with you, the waitresses would quickly come over and try to get you to buy her an overpriced drink. I did end up getting three nude dances with the best looking dancer in the club, a 20-something from Wales. The songs are cut short and she just seemed to be going through the motions like she had done the same routine thousands of times. The dances were done in a private booth in the back of the club with a curtain covering the entrance, but I saw cameras in the ceiling. I felt like I had been ripped off; there was no value.
